VIBRATION FEEDERS

Electromagnetic vibrating feeder is a system used since many years in various sectors of the market and consists of a technology for orienting and positioning many pieces. It can be used when an automatic or semi-automatic processing is required.
The vibrating feeder has a base on which it is fixed – by means of proper supports – an electromagnet and an upper part fir for containing or running the pieces. The two parts (basement and upper part) are connected by means of leaf-springs made in various material in accordance with the type of vibrating feeder and with specific requirements.
There are two types of vibrators, with the same operating system, but different type of vibration:
  • circular vibrators: for orienting and positioning pieces. The dimension permits different autonomy. They produce a circular vibration: clockwise or anticlockwise. They are assembled with a bowl that can be: cylindrical, step-shaped or conical.

  • linear (horizontal) vibrators: they produce a straight-line vibration; assembled with a storage hopper has the purpose of feeding the circular vibrator; assembled to a conveying tough has the purpose to transfer the positioned pieces to the engine. In this case the linear vibrator is helpful when a photocell is required.
The voltage supply is 230 V/50 Hz single phase. Different voltage and/or frequency on request. The bowl could be made in normal or stainless steel. On request different bowls and special dimension according to the type of pieces to be positioned.

Special coatings for the bowl
It is possible to apply special coatings directly in contact with the pieces to move or position. The purposes of the coatings are:
  • to reduce the noise of the vibrating feeder;
  • to increase the feeding capacity in case of pieces which are not in optimum conditions, such as damp or oily pieces;
  • to reduce wear of the parts in touch with the pieces;
  • to reduce and/or avoid the possibility to damage the surface of the pieces to move and position.
